Bro can those ah beng hp shop do the installation?

Need to see if they can do wet application or not I guess. But honestly, not very hard to do yourself. I preordered one at half price, did it myself without asking the phantomskinz guys, 95% perfect. So want to order another set so that I can reapply back protector without any flaws, since now I asked them and I know what I did wrong.

[Edit] The package comes with 2 screen protectors, and 1 back protector. It's not tempered glass, so if you're looking for glass screen protector, this one not for you. But the matte back protector is really nice to look at, and gives a bit more grip compared to naked phone. Front screen protector is quite thick, if it's going to be an issue. The back protector also ends up being flush with the buttons, so I can't immediately press power button by feeling anymore, need to take maybe 2 seconds to find it.

Thanks for the information. It sounds like the protector makes the phone overall much thicker.. Does it almost feels as thick as having a thin casing?

Oh nah, don't get me wrong, it doesn't make the phone much thicker, it still feels the same thickness as a naked phone. Maybe only an additional 0.5mm thicker from the screen protector?

Actually when we wet apply or paste any back protector. When we remove the protector, will it strip the metal paint behind?

Hi, I just installed tempered glass screen protector on my iPhone 6 (4.7" screen). After installation, I noticed 2 large bubble (abt 2-3mm diameter) surrounding the fingerprint-sensor button. The phone shop staff who did the installation told me that it not an issue with the screen protector but due to Apple's screen manufacturing process which created unevenness (concave-like effect) around the screen space button.

If it is an Apple manufacturing matter, is it something I can raise to Apple Service Centre to have the iPhone replaced?

Would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

the back is a full solid slab of aluminium, what metal paint? :vijayadmin:

I am not sure if they call it "painted" or something else, but I remember last week, while removing the residues (was just using the wet wipe that came with the Spigen Tempered Glass protector) to remove the residues of the ElementCase side protectors film that came with the Sector 5 bumper, a "paint" chip off on the champfered edge - around 3mm x 1 mm. No, it's not a dent - I checked it with a loupe.

Thanks. I have patronised this shop for many years.. it is hard to believe. Especially, when he said the same problem of varying degree affects a number of his other customers' iphone 6.

Ok, I will go down and confront him again. The appearance of bubbles is really an eyesore on the black screen..
