iPhone 6 and 6+ screen not responsive intermittently

My iPhone 6+ has the problem, which is known as touch disease. My phone is already out of warranty and the Apple authorized service center said I will be charged 500+ for a one-to-one replacement.

I was quite frustrated with this as I believe it is a design flaw or manufacturing defect.

How many of you are having the same issue, what did you do about it?

Sadly, out of warranty phone you can do nothing about it. This is Singapore so the chance of getting it replace is slim.

My dads phone had the same issue but luckily I bought for him the Apple care + the last time so he could get it repaired

Apple has a replacement program regarding this issue. Go check if your phone is eligible at any authorized service centre.
