I would caution against buying glass protectors and even unknown brand cases too early. Apple does not release specs to all of them so some of them could not work properly i.e. does not sit flush or cut outs dun align properly. Thats why over the years, some have had to do a newer improved version just few weeks after the first run of production due to complaints.

Alot of manufacturers are scrambling to produce them only after the announcement. I contacted UAG and they say there is no guaranteed time period for delivery as they are still in the midst of production. Alot of spigen models also won't ship til end of the month.

If no SP, get one of those flip cases to cover from damage. Less exposure.
Let's see if curve screen is difficult to apply SP.
My HTC One years ago was curved and it was difficult to apply SP without bubbles on the side.
