Hi all,

Just need some advice.
I bought my iPhone 6 from Singtel I think 2 months ago.

Now I notice my front camera has this crescent like shape. It doesn't seem to be affecting the front camera now but I am afraid it might get worse.

Anyone else have this issue and can advice what I can do?

Thank you.

Yeah exactly what happened to my first one. LOL. I thought it was dust/water droplets at first, thus went to the service centre to ask if they could just wipe it off for me. Turned out it was camera misalignment. :s13:

Hi... Mine also has a problem and it's already half of the front camera.. It was really a mis-aligned camera, I thought it was like a plastic thing on the front.... Did you go to the apple authorized apple service center? Did they charge you anything? Did you make any appointment?

did you replace it at the service centre or the apple store directly? Was the replacement a new phone or a refurbished one?

Really depends. I created a thread weeks back on how do you tell whether it is really a factory "refurb" unit or not. The way to tell is your iOS version. Users who had gotten iOS 8.0/8.0.1 in the early days when they exchanged are all as good as new.(Some failed the initial stages of QC, thus the failed part/parts have to be replaced. These phones are then used as a replacement unit.) But now, the phones you received are usually all "refurb" in the sense that customers(whoever are going to the service centre to have their iPhones replaced, these iPhones will be then sent back to Apple for repair and everything before they used the units as replacement phones.) :)
