IPhone 6 not working

Hi,

My mum has an iPhone 6 that just wouldn't boot up after hitting the apple logo screen. I have tried upgrading it to the latest software and it just gets stuck with same screen and a loading bar.

I have also observed the screen blacking out after displaying werid color on the screen.

The phone also heats up insanely fast and is at the point of being unusable.

My mum went down to QCD and they could not diagnose and just told my mother to get a replacement at 550. Wtf.

Any ideas on what the issue is? Otherwise can recommend iphone repairs for such a situation as replacing the phone with Apple is just daylight robbery.

Consider putting the device into DFU mode and then try restoring.

TS, why don't you try ALABS instead? If they also fail to diagnose the problem & asks your mom to get it replaced, then your mom might as well bring it to a 3rd party shop. Playurconsoles at Golden Mile Tower has been given pretty good reviews by some forumners.
