Iphone 6 plus 1 to 1 exchange

Is it recommended that since my phone is coming to 1 year soon I should go to Ps to get a one to one exchange for a refurbish phone? Is it still a practice now? I'm thinking I could get something newer then my current phone although I know it's refurbish.

Heard about this but I think it is a very immoral act.

If there is a defect, yes. It is not guaranteed to get 1-1 exchange, eg. If there is a damage on the screen that is covered by warranty, they wil replace the screen only.

Times had changed. Last time where got Apple service center?? All go back to telco if not direct with Apple.
Ppl abused then no choice.
If just change Apple is ok but a lot all change parts then send in. Apple is losing money as ppl take out the parts and sell as original parts.

So who to blame??

I rather they 1 to 1 than open and change parts.

The only iOS device I had which is opened before is iPhone 4, that time my home button spoil then warranty expired so go some shop to change my home button. Until now still working.

unless got legitimate reason to change, don't abuse the system. long run, everyone suffers. then again, Apple opening Store in SG soon. so we shall see how the exchange and servicing will be like

If you have AppleCare+ call up Apple customer service & try to ask for express replacement service i.e. They send you the replacement phone & you return your spoilt phone to them in the DHL container that came with the replacement phone.

my ip5 has many scratches and dents on the body. but the screen is popping out already due to the battery bloating I think. and it is eligible for the switch replacement. Thinking of going to try my luck and hopefully they do a 1-to-1 for me

They will just swap the battery and change the switch for you. No more 1-to-1 exchange now unless they really don't have the parts.

But what if I have battery draining problem ? I called apple hotline and they told me to go qcd to service, so issit a 1-1 exchange or just replace the battery for me ? If replacement battery issit on the spot or do I need to wait for a few days ?

Qcd can fix iphone, so high probability they'll get it repair

Only ipod and ipad cant be repair which is a 1to1 exchange

I took the phone for skiing and it shut off when there is still over 50% batt.
