I am using 6 plus 16G and found some of the apps has bit delay (0.5 seconds sometimes) from the moment I press it to the moment it starts, when I tried to use the 6 plus 64G, it doesn't feel the same, it's more smooth. I run some of benchmark tools on both machines and found the mark for storage I/O is much different, if 16G can get 600 points, 64G then is roughly about 800 points. I wish to know if you guys are also using 16G, what is your I/O mark on your benchmark app? Please state the mark here and the benchmark app you are using, so that I can install the same app to tell if mine is the same as yours. Thanks

I assume it works like an ssd. Google how ssd works. Lower capacity ssd is slower than those higher ones. Something gotta do with parallelism.

Let's assume there are 2 nand chips for the 16gb model, whereas there are 16 chips for the 128gb model. The 128gb model can access data on those 16 chips at the same time, whereas it can only access 2 chips for the lower model.

Is the performance difference very significant?

TS, your score of 1700 - 1800, was it on the 16GB model?

Also, please share with us how obvious the speed difference was.
U used same config and backups for both phones?

Not the same, two are totally different users phones. The feeling is like if you are about to open an app, and the app will be started not that fast if you compare with usual use. I just don understand how comes my I/O is that much different from others, maybe I shall see more replies and marks shared later on

Did it and just installed Antutu and did the benchmark, the mark is still around 1700, that's why want to see how about others

I believe also during the cost ordering of the NAND, the 16 64 128 are from different suppliers.

I think the 16GB Nands are shared with the 5C, 5S.

As for 64, 128 should be sourced from their new supplier.

Do u believe that the 16GB models are slower than the 64?
