Iphone 6 Plus compass not working

The compass in My iphone 6 plus is not working, anybody know where can I send for repair beside authorized service centre? It is pretty annoying because i do not know the direction I'm facing when i look at the map....

Settings>Privacy>Location Services>System Services>Compass Calibration ON!

If it's OFF then you won't see any direction arrow.

Bro, i drop my phone and there's a visible dent. Service center said i must pay $520 to exchange a new one.

Its already ON and my compass just could not calibrate. It seems like the chip is faulty.

try to take a small magnet and rotate around the phone with the compass app on then restart the phone

Have u done basic troubleshooting such as restarting your phone and restoring as new to eliminate software related issues?

You are the best!! I did this and it works!! Can you let me know why?I thought it is using a chip?

I tried rebooting soft/hard, reinstall ios all those methods u can find on the internet for months.
