Iphone 6 Proximity Sensor faulty?

Hi All.. My iphone 6 promixity sensor went bonkers all of a sudden. The screen will not turn off during a call and the battery will drain very fast. Auto brightness also will no longer work. I have not adjusted any settings.

It will also get hot from normal usage. Any1 encountered this before? Reset all settings doesnt seem to help.

Any advise?
