Bring down to service center to have it check. Even if exchange it will be brand new set for now.

okay here's the update. I got it replaced. They said was a manufacturing defect.

I was happy when I got another new iPhone 6.

Got home, realized the top part of the screen was tinted yellow.

I'M GOING BACK DOWN AGAIN.

#FML.

Nope. Refurbish phones wont appear until 2 to 3 months later. All stocks replaced now are brand new set.

they gave me a brand new set, but it's not from the retail box. they just opened it up from a normal white box.

Any update on the screen issue?

i went down again. they said the tinted yellow screen at the top was considered acceptable. i made a fuss out of it and they said this is due to the fact that the iPhone was just manufactured and the glue has not set in properly yet. the technician said cannot exchange and mentioned the yellow tinted will fade away within a week or two.

I reported a case with apple online and we had an agreement. If the yellow tinted doesn't fade within a week, i'll get a new replacement set sent with express replacement service.

QCD techs always say it is "acceptable" or "normal", but I never believe them. Same case with my iPhone 5 last week, they said acceptable and normal issue on pink hue. :s22:

The yellowish tint does fade after 2 weeks. I replaced my 5s at comcentre and the replacement was from a white box too. I made noise there but the staffs insisted it was normal. Doing the same thing as you by calling Apple, apple product specialist allowed me to do a replacement if the yellowish tint remains. But after using it for a month and comparing to demo sets in store, the yellowish tint does fade. However, my yellowish tint was uniform and not concentrated at the top of the screen like in your case.
