iphone 6 wifi connection issue

Hi everyone,

Anyone face issue when connect to wifi, the internet connection is not working at all ?

There is no problem for my ipad or laptop that connect to the same wifi network. Tried hard reset on iphone 6, no luck. Tried to disconnect and connect, still same issue. Most likely some settings in the iphone6 cause it does get the ip address but cannot connect to internet at all.

I hope it is not set issue

No problem for me connecting to WIFI... have you tried connecting to other WIFI sources?

No problem encountered... Yeah, try another wifi source. I had wifi issues with iP5 before but it turned out to be the router. Fixed it with a firmware update.

Sometimes I have this problem with my iPhone 5 and iPad mini.
Experienced same thing last night with my iPhone 6+.
A simple reset on my router will fix things. Dunno what's the main problem.

Also notice that the wifi connection sometimes just dropped.. seen this one in macrumors forum and something related to the way the phone is held.

If u gt from telco, can 7days 1 to 1 swap

I'm also experiencing intermittent wifi drop or slowness. Suspect it's ios8 as both my 5s and 6 having same issue. Doubt it's router as laptop and other non-ios8 devices are fine.

Old belkin n-router..tried changing some settings but still the same. Connection to wifi itself has some difficulties..sometimes cannot connect at all to even get the ip assigned

Seems to be some settings in my router or router not compatible.. was at Westgate and manage to connect to wifi there and can browse internet. I need to explore more on my router's settings..

This wifi slow & dropping off issue is related to iOS 8.

I just updated to iOS 8 on my 5S and the above issues occur.

Do NOT return your iPhone 6/6Plus as it isn't hardware related!

fix the problem.. change some settings in my router and now is working fine and no drop as well. somehow not sure why with this iphone 6, it just doesn't work. it works well with my iphone 5 and ipad..

Yah, it's an IOS 8 issue cos my 5s and ipad mini experience dropped connections as well.
A simple google search will also yield the same results as what people are facing too. So hang in there and wait for an update.
