Yah, it's an IOS 8 issue cos my 5s and ipad mini experience dropped connections as well.
A simple google search will also yield the same results as what people are facing too. So hang in there and wait for an update.

Correct....TS...do not swop yr device. juz wait for an iOS update

Any SingTel users having problems connecting to LTE/4G? Haha. Cause I can't seem to connect to 4G and I'm on the 3G most of the time. Any idea why?

Yeah activated, I was using it yesterday. Hmm gonna call them and check again.

Try this and let us know..

1) Goto an area (open area) which there is 4G coverage.
2) Enable cellular data and than enable 4G.
3) Lock your phone after that.
4) Wait 30 secs and unlock, tell us if it switches to 4G

Thanks

Woah it switched back to 4G, thanks for your help.

What happened exactly? It was 3G before I locked the device. Feels like my phone just did a Houdini.

Frm wad I found out...for singtel 4g...if the phone is 'receiving/sending data', it will not switch to 4G. All data transmissions must stop, dan it will switch.

Why dun u experiment it out? Try going back to 3G, enable 4G and continue to stream some data. the switch will be delayed

Wah very good insight. Appreciate your help a lot haha.

I just ported over from M1 and having been a M1 subscriber for 4 years I was disappointed they couldn't even get their **** together for a simple pre-order, so I jumped, haha.
