Following report from here: http://www.gsmarena.com/apple_says_...tteries_exposed_to_ambient_air-news-22023.php

Go to this site and enter your serial number.

https://www.apple.com/support/iphone6s-unexpectedshutdown/

On the left, select Singapore from the drop down box. To get your phone serial number, go to Settings > General > About.

If your 6S is one of the affected batch, it will show you this:
The iPhone 6s serial number you entered is eligible for this program. Please choose one of the service options below.

Basically mean, go down to Alab or QCD to have it replace. As stated by Apple, replacement of battery is free.

Is there a T&C stating 3 years? Fix in 1 HR also also scare they do a rush job, too long also seems too much of a wait

Ok thanks! Next week then go down QCD to swap. :s13:

Bro sorry to disappoint you. i went to QCD today and was told that battery replacement having insufficient stocks due to apple having stocks constrain worldwide. they advice me to send them an email to indicate for reservation for the battery. Hope this helps or last option you can try A-Lab.

they will wipe e phone to factory defaults before swapping...

is this necessary? what i hate is back up phone, go there clean wipe for the batt replacement, then u got to quickly come back to restore, else u are like having a 'new phone'

it's necessary for them to absolve themselves of blame. if e data is not wiped n something goes wrong during e replacement leading to data loss they would get themselves into trouble. definitely annoying but can understand why it's needed...
