Its not the duration of time of the press but the amount of pressure. That's why most people don't get it.

Problems with the iPad Pro..

1) No usb port

2) It's running iOS , so the apps in there are mostly tablet(mobile) apps, not desktop class apps..so its not really a replacement for laptops. You cant install the full photoshop in there and edit .psd file with freedom.

3) With the stylus + keyboard cover is additional of $200+ , its more expensive than surface combined.

In the end its better to buy a surface or even better a macbook air...

Bro. When Steve jobs made that comment, the smartphone user interfaces back then was relying on stylus which did not work so great. Have you tried a windows mobile phone before?

The apple pencil is meant for artists and less for interface navigation.
