It's ultimately down to whether you die die need a new phone now. If you really cannot tahan your current phone, or it's dying already, or you have spare cash and want to have the latest iPhone now, then hoot 6S Plus. Still 8 more months or so to the next iPhone.

If can tahan your current phone, use till iPhone 7 then upgrade.

Alternatively if money is no issue, buy iPhone 6S Plus now, then when 7 comes sell it and buy the iphone 7.
