iphone 6s + rear cover replacement

hi guys,

Dropped my phone today its only 1 week old.

it has a dent at the corner of the cover.

Questions:
- do you know of any place i can replace my rear cover?
- understand dat 6s should have more resistant to bendgate. Changing will be smarter with apple directly?
- if i change third party will this void warranty?
- buying apple care too late? does apple care even cover this?

If it's one week old, buy AppleCare+ now for $248 and request for a replacement at $148.

Don't change the back cover at 3rd party shop as they will void warranty and it will not be a original housing.

Read some cases, applecare does change your casing? or they just give u a refurbish set?

Do not attempt to replace your rear cover by third party, it will most definitely void your warranty. The quality of third party back case cannot be assured as well as you pointed out that Apple now uses the 7000 series aluminum. Replacing the case requires EVERY COMPONENT of the phone to be removed and reassembled into the new casing, not extremely tough but anything can happen during the process..

Buy AppleCare+ like what adiBOY suggested, let them run the test over the phone and when everythings done, wait a week or two then head down to AASP and request for accidental replacement. If they deny the replacement, which I don't know if they allow due to dents only, you gotta have another accident that causes your screen to break or water damaged.

Accidental replacement does not repair the phone, they'll swap it with a refurbished/replacement device.

I will suggest getting AppleCare+

Since it's a week old, and it's only a dent. It will pass the diagnosis test

Thereafter. The warranty will be extended to 2 years + 2 accidental damages, of which you will need to pay ~$150 or so for each accident

Personally I think you should just live with the dent till something worse comes along eg. Screen shatter

Then you take advantage of the replacement program
