Hey guys, which size are you getting? Will 32gb + 200gb iCloud can be considered or getting the 128 is more preferred? Just want to seek your various thoughts about the effectiveness or use of iCloud to compensate the storage? I don't save movies but I do save a few Spotify playlists and a photography fanatic.

Appreciate ideas or advice. Cheers

Just get which is more practical to you. iCloud has the advantage for storage and ease of access if you have lots of photos and videos which you can pull from the cloud if you need to.

Hmm Apple Music has an option to optimise storage. I don't think Spotify has a similar feature.

128gig

Do note that with more things on the cloud it would mean that you'll be downloading more things trough your mobile plan/WiFi

Apple is ****. 64 is more than enough for 70% of the user . But they die die wanna roll out 128gb and tag it with same price to maximize the profit as the 64gb memory is cheaper .

Problem is every photo u taken u need data to upload it to iCloud. U wanna the take fuss to upload or pay more to upload to iCloud? If u don mind then iCloud is the place to go.

IF u mind abt the extra data cost then 128gb is the way

How about thinking it this way, Apple could have offered 32, 64 and 128 for the current price but instead we got 128 and 256 instead? Isn't that a win for us consumers?

Given the 2 options, the 128gb version is definitely the better buy considering that there is no storage upgrade once you buy it. Also, it should bring about a boost in storage speed too.

But you are paying more since some do not need more than 64gb.

Apple has always done this so that they can sell the higher end model. Previously, lowest is 16gb and next step is 64gb at the period when most people are satisfied with 32gb. Now that 64gb is the standard, they make 32gb the base model then skip 64gb forcing people to go for 128gb.

If 32g enough then when spend more for something u wont use? Does it matter if ip6s 64g is cheaper or more expansive?

for me i will go higher because u will find it a problem if u dont have enough data later on, esp if u plan to use it for 2yrs etc
thats why iphone 6s i get 128gb from 64gb previously. at least dont have to see data full problem
if u all along not much things to take, save, like someone i know, every sms/whatapps/pics etc just like to delete off instead of hogging liked i did, then u can stay with a lower data size
as for resale, i feel that 32gb might not have much resale value
buy phone so exp liao, might as well top up to 128gb :(

That is Apple's strategy. Buy phone so ex already. Might as well get 128gb. If there had been a 64gb option, their 128gb option will not be so popular.
