iPhone 7 audio

After the latest update, iPhone 7 muted volume. When someone call me, I can’t hear them they can’t hear me. Even the speaker is disabled.

I believe this is the audio chip problem: Iphone 7 audio IC and C-12 jumper.

Is it wise to repair or just get a secondhand or new phone?

Oh ok. It seems to be common. Maybe I should get a 2nd phone for the long term instead of repairing.
