iPhone 7 showing wrong carrier name

Instead of Singtel, it shows "My Maxis"...
happened after I went to JB and back.

Auto-Roaming on phone was OFF all the time, as well as the setting in Singtel App. So 100% it's OFF.

Everything else still works though.
Tried reset network settings, turn off phone, hard reset also no use.
put the SIM card into another phone and that phone shows Singtel... so pretty sure it's iphone problem


any advice pls?

What is your iOS version?

already tried reset network settings 2 times...
iOS ver = 12.1

maybe will try doing a full restore when free

update: problem solved after full restore

think it's the 2nd time it happened.
