just bought a new iphone 8. i checked in M1 store but really did not see the very not obvious hairline crack until i went to get the tempered screen and the storekeeper saw it.

tried to change it but M1 said i have already brought out the store so it is final.

anyone knows whether i will have luck in apple store?

You have to call Apple hotline. Apple store will only entertain sets that are bought directly off Apple Store or online store.

Don't expect Apple to give you a brand new set if you buy from Telcos.

I thought Apple has a 14 day no questions asked return policy for their products?

don't ever go to those authorized service centre. high chances they would decline. just bring it down to the apple store and update us from there.
