Anybody experiencing this?
Got my handset at Singtel's launch last weekend and noticed the cackling sounds when using the phone normally (not via headset).

Apple didn’t offer a timeline on when the bug fix would be shipped, but it typically issues multiple updates in the weeks and months after putting out a new phone and operating system.

Im on M1. Currently have not done anything. It happens randomly so may not replicate the issue if go down to apple. Will wait for apple response on this issue. Maybe they will release note that state certain batches earpiece need to be replace if its hardware problem.

Some folks at macrumors claim the static/cracking sound are gone after they update to iOS 11.1 beta. Hope it’s true.

So this issue affect only the new iPhones and not affect older iphone within iOS11
