iPhone app which cannot be deleted

hi all,

i experienced this issue where i cannot delete the app no matter what i do.
it is already gray out and cannot be used.
the app also cannot be found in app store anymore.


i tried holding on to the app and press the x but the app just wont delete.
the app no longer appears in my itunes backup.

Download back on iTunes and re-sync again to try.

nope doesnt delete...i backup to a clean itunes and then perform sync

oh dear...tat is wat i am afraid of...no choice then..then i have to backup my games and whatsapp to icloud

restore should really be the final desperate solution. Try the itunes way again. Restart com and iphone, try to sync it with your itunes again after unchecking the app from the app tab in itunes (if possible).

If it doesn't work, consider using 3rd-party itunes-like library manager and get them to delete for you (they seem like interrupted or corrupted app installs).

Try a forced restart first:

1. While the phone is unlocked and at the home screen,

2. Press and hold (at the same time) the power switch and the home button

3. Keep holding until the phone blacks out and the Apple logo appears, then release

See if that works.

i finally able to delete it after upgrading to ios8...really power!
most likely 7 got bug
