Ask y‘all bros who are already currently using eSIM. When yall switch phone every year, gotta pay $10.90 for the new eSIM email/QR code from SingTel? I never use eSIM before on my local telco, only relied on eSIM when I go overseas.

I read that ST esim email link can only use 1x? Every year change phone pay $10.90?

For singtel, remove the old esim from your phone and scan the same qr code. I believe there's a limit though.

I first requested esim for my iphone air last year

Then rescan the same one -> iPhone 17
Rescan -> Pixel 11 Pro Fold
Rescan -> Flip 8
Rescan -> Fold8 Ultra (it failed here) and need to request for new eSIM.

Thankfully they waived for free.

Ironically half the ppl complaining will end up buying. Always the case. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s their strategy. Purposely talk sh*t about it hoping to scare ppl off so got less people rush with them to order

I use StarHub can do phone transfers
Also the SingTel HI scan the QR only, make sure you remote old phone and reused same QR code for new phone

Wow you used and changed so many phones within a year bro. So theoretically an esim can "last" for 4x scan & rescan. Before needing the help of ST personnel to help to waive off the $10.90.

Ya hahaha I believe there's a limit (not sure due to time or number of usage) Air launch was sep last year. Just nice the qr code fail Sep this year. Hmm I believe it should be the no of usages...

SingTel and StarHub both I using now.
This is pretty easier for transfer and scan QR code for reused.
Except you having Malaysia telco die die must be using physical sim

once you’re step out from physical sim to eSIM the iPhone Air no longer is an issue
