not really. If you read the reddit developer, the user said, there is already a hinge sensor there, just that samsung never tapped into that area for that animation.

If that happens, it means apple is doing the right thing. But I doubt the other makers other than Xiaomi will want to copy it cos' will make them look weak and apple superior.

I'm sure apple will be happy to share. Make it even more famous than it should be.

I rather not have these animations on my Z Fold8. It's Z Fold8, it's not iPhone. Why would i want an iphone like on my Fold?

i mean... if you take liquid glass for example.. then compare it to the current magicOS, originOS and colourOS.. i guess you will have an idea where its going. even the lastest OneUI is going the liquid glass direction now.

Yup, each devices should have their unique features. Samsung has good lock that no others can replicate and that keeps me in the Samsung ecosystem.

Haha... Chinese makers have very thick skins. They copy everything and claim it's their greatest invention. So sad Chinese has dropped to such low standards. Go see the huwei launch of their new trifold. The CEO is begging people to buy their products as a spare phone. Shareholders should kick him out. Haha
