Hello everyone ,
I need advice. My iPhoneX is down. before this issue, the phone has enough space with only like 1GB left.
On Monday ,my phone suddenly appear with Apple logo keep loop n keep rebooting. Tried hard reset also fail , aft that I try to connect to iTunes with recovery mode , did the upgrade as per advice from customer service. However upgrade iOS fail at “verifying software update stage “. The only way is for me to reset factory setting. I have important documents inside the phone.

I suspect due to no space to upgrade software , so my phone now stuck at recovery mode n cant exit also .

I've checked with many shop however, most mentioned it cannot be restore since it's at in 'recovery' mode. The screen is always with a picture of monitor with a cable.

Any experts can help to advice me on this matter, really appreciate ! Thanks in Advance.

Try this method to quite recovery mode.

- Unplug the device from the USB cable.
- Hold down the sleep/wake button (or Side, depending on your model) button until the iPhone turns off, then let it go.
- Hold it down again until the Apple logo reappears.
- Let go of the button and the device will start up.

Ensure you are using Apple original cable or certified cables when performing restore, also make sure the cable is plugged directly to computer and not via hub or some other 3rd party extension.
Pls note that though some 3rd party cables may work for normal syncing and charging but it may not be good enough for restore.

download the latest ipsw for your iphone.

https://ipsw.me/iPhone10,3

install itunes. your itunes will state that your phone is in recovery mode.

hold down shift and click restore, a window should pop up, use the downloaded ipsw and restore.

it should work.

Hi, will like to check on my iPhone XR. It's been hanging on me for quite a bit and shutting down by itself.

Hi, not sure why but my original iPhone cable doesn't really work for syncing too. Try multiple ones and the problem persists
