I have no brand loyalty (hopped from Apple to Nokia to HTC to LG and a little of Samsung in a year), but Apple is no doubt my preferred of the abovementioned. Came back to iPhone afterall.

I think Apple is leading because their hardware compliments their software & vice versa, rather than Android OEMs who have to tailor their hardware to Google's Android OS.

I think most people are getting phones for the hardware, i.e. bigger screens, faster hardware, rather than the OS. Also there is not much of a choice in terms of mobile OS. The 2 main players are Android and iOS. The rest commands very small market shares.

In fact, I have tried using Android for a couple of times lately, with the Galaxy S2 and S3, but I simply don't like it. The Google Play store has virtually nothing interesting in it. Most apps/ game ports don't work well on the OS as well.

Maybe People like me use android is because of the big screen. The high hardware spec does not matter to me since it is only for basic use like facebook, Straits Times, Business Times, stock browser, etc.. Gaming and other nice app are not the priority. Has been using Note 2 and iPhone 5.. And sometimes hard to decide which to bring out of home since both are ok to me as a univeral OS users. Note 2 is quite stable and seem to have longer battery life than iPhone 5.. Cannot comment on other android phone like S4, S3, S2, etc since I do not own it..

I wear business pants.. So can choose either one. No problem with note 2 size at all

Only for weekend and if I wear jean, the choice is clearer which is iPhone 5.

No doubt game is more smooth in iOS iPhone.. But screen size matters depends on what game to play.. it matters to me as I prefer to play some game in bigger screen..

Of course I will play on my iPad mini too. I was making a comparison between phone to phone.

Will see the difference in screen size when playing selected game in Note 2 and iPhone 5.. Eg. FIFA, Asphalt 8, etc..

Playing in note 2 is more fun because of the screen size... Even though try to play these games in iPhone 5. But very different in terms of enjoyment.
