iphone lightning cable?

Where can i get authentic iphone lightning cable / approved by apple?

one of my friends got the metal coated lightning cable, quite durable but i'm not sure how reliable it is. He said it is apple certified? approved by apple, something along that line. Are there such things?

MFi certified. there are many places selling such accessories such as Challenger, Harvey Norman, epicentre etc etc. basically all the bigger stores.
