iPhone shuts down at 80% battery

Hi, my phone shuts down by itself at 80% battery life and is unable to start again until I plug it into a charger. The phone then can be used again but may randomly shuts down again. Any solution?

How old is the phone battery? Maybe it is just worn out (usually after 2 years) and needs to be replaced.

Sounds like the capacity of your battery is in decline after years of usage. I believe your actual battery capacity is less than 20% (which is why your phone shuts off at 80%)

If you have AppleCare, you might be able to get your battery replaced. This is quite common.

if u have a Mac u can use coconut battery tool to check e batt cycles left in yr phone. chances r e batt worn out liao...
