How do traders or scalpers make money ? Someone is offering my brand new iphone 14 pro max at $200 above market value.

I am curious, if they are paying above my purchase price, then where they do they offload it to.

Definitely not for individual use because he wanna buy me , my wife and my kids iphone 14.

A big majority goes to Vietnam. They usually release a month or two later than the world & their whales are really willing to pay good money for it. That's why year year u see viet ppl with luggage camping outside apple stores.
