Just went down to the comcentre to request to for a 1-1 exchange for my iPhone 5, as the lock button isn't working too well. However, my warranty got voided because of the extensive cosmetic damage (a couple of dents at the corners of the phone). Went online to see if there were similar cases and I see lots of users suggesting a call to Apple to request for exchange "of goodwill".
Can I ask if any of the users here have tried and succeeded, and what does it entail? Previous posts I read don't really provide a picture of their phone so I'm not too sure what they will accept.
Kind of pissed off by the pinoy's attitude at the comcentre sigh. Singtel service getting from bad to worse.
