Is it when you take a photo using the stock photo app, and then before you can preview it. it will buffer?

yes. u are right.

when u want to preview, it'll look blur and then like 2-3 sec, then clear

deep fusion? it has been like this since iphone 11.
it should only happen if you try to look at the photo immediately after taking them.

i think u are spot on on the deep fusion effect

because deep fusion takes 9 photos before and during the moment you press the shutter button. and then combines the best elements of the 9 photos to make it into 1 image. it’s takes abit of time for this image processing to take place and complete, so there is this slight “loading” effect when you review the image immediately after taking it.

in the past when deep fusion was lunched with iphone 11 series, the feature wouldn’t work with the ultra wide lens, so you wouldn’t experience this “loading” effect when immediately reviewing pictures taken with the UW lens.

now deep fusion works with all lens on the ip13, with the exception of burst shots. so you can try taking burst shots with your ip13 and review them immediately, you will not see this “loading” effect.
