Iphone X flashlight no longer works

I just realised that the 3d touch from the lock screen no longer activates my flashlight. Anyone else faces this problem? Perhaps the latest update broke something?

Edit: just tried turning touch 3d off & on again & realised on the test screen, it doesn’t even work now!

Does that mean my screen is faulty?

Reset to factory settings?
If you are on iOS 12.3.1 then should have 3D Touch unless yours is iOS 13

yr taptic engine probably spoilt? time for a trip to  store or try a restore first.

WTF its fine now Didn’t do anything. Hope it doesnt conk out again till after iphone 11 is out & i’ve sold it

Force restart iPhone X and later, iPhone 8, or iPhone 8 Plus:

Spoiler

1. Press and release the volume up button.
2. Press and release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button.
4. When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Yep. In fact i shut off my phone evert night.

I think you can head to Apple store to check your screen if still got warranty.

Else get ready for the inevitable failure
