Hi, My Daughter Iphone X face ID not working, i Try reset all setting ,Hard reset and nothing works,the setup Face ID still grey out but she still can use selfie. any solution? anyone know how much it cost to repair at apple as my warranty is over, i did bought M1 Fonecare for this phone.

Bring it down to Apple and see what they say. No point paying 818 when a XS 64GB cost 1.2K outside now. If they insist u need to pay >800 for it, then u just change it at M1.

To note that I do have AC+ purchased. Thought I had to buy the replacement fee but he said it’s FOC.

if you have ac+ , you can just call apple hotline and talk your way through then head down to get it repaired. Its much easier that way * dont have to pay any fees as long as under warranty

Nope didnt. It is a hardware issue and not user issue.

talking on the phone got no use. I did that, spent 30 mins talking to the cso. Whatever they suggested, already tried before calling. End up next day went to Apple Store at 9plus before the store open, within 15 mins I was out with a replacement phone.
