iPhone X yellow tint fix

Tried solution 1 (changing color filter):

Now my iPhone X display looks better....whiter.... more like my old iPhone 7.

But not sure if this kind of fix is recommended?

Any bro can advise / comment?

Just start up your new phone mean true tone is enable. Disable it.

I didnt off the true tone, i find its good. It starts off yellowish then the longer you look at it, it will adjust to become whiter and whiter

I also thought so.... until yesterday when my colleague and I decided to do a note 8 vs iphone X camera quality.

The white background taken from my iphone 8 looks yellowish.... as compared to his Note 8 .....

Not a defect, I think (but I no expert).
The yellow tint is caused by the true tone setting.

When I turn it off, or I adjust the color filter, then photo looks whiter.

Has been using mine for a wk.

My Screen is white under yellow light.

Under white it is a bit yellowish.

I really think Apple sabo themselves here by turning on True Tone by default for iphone X. The OLED implementation of True Tone is BAAAD.

Turn it off, and turn nightshift off. If it is still yellow compared a an Iphone 7/8 - then something is wrong.

DON'T compare white screen with a Samsung - because their OLED is so poorly calibrated, their white always look BLUISH. So definitely your iphone White will look "yellowish" in comparison. What is more ACCURATE is to compare Skin Tone. I'm always amazed how well Apple calibrates that.
