Is iPhone X still for sale? I heard they stopped selling at the Apple store. Any idea do there have stock at Epicentre or Nubox. I just thought it could be cheaper than the XS and it doesn’t have much difference anyway, A11 vs A12 and 3 grams heavier.

I’m using 7

Epicentre has closed shop and Nubox is currently in liquidation (under Newstead). So far I’ve not seen any X on sale. Perhaps you can try places such as Kasia and Red White Mobile.

I have both X and XS Max, the XS Max is a little faster than X and no significant differences.

Ah Beng shops have.
I have the iPhone X, XS and XS Max, not much of a difference.

If I were you, I will get the XS. More future proof.

Quite big difference leh I think to me, have the X and XS Max now, day to day use, it is a lot more responsive, you will appreciate the additional smoothness and the camera is a lot better ;) face unlock is a tad quicker as well, overall, a sped-up version of X, go for the XS Max.

I heard about Kasia. Are the sets new I guess ? It only says unactivated (iPhone X) on the website.

XS Max is too big a size for me while 5.8 (X or XS) is acceptable. The price point for XS Max is too high.

I still use my X now even though my main is XS Max. Yes there's a difference but not considerably big. Camera is better in the sense that under portrait mode after taking the pic I can adjust the DOF.

Definitely the 'S' variant is always better, else Apple wouldn't have released it. I got it mainly for the larger screen and also very used to the gestures since the X last year. :)

I heard about Kasia. Are the new sets original? It only says unactivated (iPhone X) on the website.

All are definitely original as these are well-known mobile phone shops. Not activated as a norm as if you go to telcos and places such as Nubox or iStudio, upon purchase they will still have to do the activation for you in order to start using the phone.

Kasia & Red White Mobile are the newer kids on the block. They’re set up around 2010. Before them, are shops in FEP Far East Plaza - the 3 giants there - Mobile Square, WhyMobile, J2 Mobile (infamous Jovan Chew’s shop handed down to his ex Wife Winnie). These 3 are set up in 2002+-.

In SG, no owners dare to open a handphone shop to sell non-original phones. I’m sorry but the way you ask your question is bewildering.

I understand your concerns as to why these shops are selling their iPhones so much cheaper than Apple RRP (recommended retail price).

Pay a visit during weekends to the 3 telcos in sg - SingTel, M1 & StarHub and you’ll know why. In Sg, everyone is signing out phones every single day. It’s a booming industry. They sign out phones to: 1) use it themselves 2) sell to those handphone shops mentioned above.

Handphone shops in turn make a minimal margin when they take in such phones and resell to us. Don’t worry, all are brand new with respective telco receipts. And activated not too long ago too.

Google for their respective shops website and compare the prices before you head down. Good luck!

This. Finally someone else agrees!

Take XS size if max too big for you

Don’t really use portrait mode. But the smart HDR and dynamic range really so much better than the X! Agree with you, the x was a damn good phone! ;)

I mean if you compare at maybe I dunno Kasia or Mobile Square whatever right

iPhone X 256GB - $13xx
iPhone Xs 256GB - $15xx

I'd gladly pay $200+ more for a newer year of tech, plus Smart HDR is revolutionary. Sure there's not much a difference, but the price different isn't as staggering as say brand new Note 8 vs brand new Note 9.

Unless it's just a spare/secondary phone, I'd go for the XS for that $200 difference. Better resale value later on too.

Yes and using both my X and XS Max, they're an awesome duo! :D
I'm actually tempted to change my X to XS... but I think I should hold back since it's just a spare phone. (It's only wanting to use the dual-SIM feature. =:p)

In fact for me I felt that dual Sim wise, both physical SIMs better, else get the HK set.

That's why for now I'm sticking to Note9 for dual SIM.

Then you have the best of both! :D

The original X is a keeper for me as it's Apple's 10th anniversary phone and it's also bought during Singtel launch event last year. So yeah, it's valuable to me. :)
