mainly because you all are itching for the XS Max or XS ba..

using my XR for several months already. loving it. To be frank, i like the battery life the most. I had not used Portrait mode so far.

Now m1 got discount iPhone xr $235 with plan... Damn tempted leh

Thought so in the past too, but after playing with it at the apple shop, the screen looks chui to me with a single camera but cost as much as an android flagship phone which put me off.

Quite gian the xs, just need to wait if iPhone price reduction gonna be affected sinkland in few months time

Agree last night went to really touch the xr and cannot stand the thick bezel XS really feels much better in hands and looks more modern...albeit the pricing

I switched from the xs max to the xr. The reason why is something most would be bewildered with. Xs max is really too big and i like the compact size of the xr and the candy colors avail. Screen type, I not bothered with. I watch movies on my mac pro. The phone is just for communication purposes.

Same here. Gave my XS Max to my Wife and now using XR, just feel that this size is just right. Everything else same experience , can’t really notice the lower res screen.

If only the back of the phone is tapered then it would be nicer to hold, it's thick and wide, put casing becomes bulky

I compared the XR with 8 Plus 2 days ago at one of the apple store. The ghosting on XR more obvious than on the 8 Plus. Guess my eyes a bit sensitive to it.

Both my friend and I had a rather unusual experience with the XR.
That is the screen is always too bright and I got pretty bad eye strain and headaches during the 2 weeks I was using the XR. You may ask why I did not lower the brightness but I did and it became too dim and can’t see clearly. Turn up it becomes too bright. I used iPhones for years and the XR is the only one that I kept needing to adjust the brightness and still can’t find the right level to read comfortably. Once I changed to Xs max , the headache stopped and the brightness is perfect. Both phones with True Tone on ...

So far only my friend has the same issue ... strange but it happened to both of us and we are now happy with Xs max lol

Kinda sad cos I really like the XR , it’s got a very nice size and weight. Easier to grip as compared to the Max and also easier on the wallet ... I also like the 128gn option as it’s the sweet spot , battery life is superb... too bad leh

I thought I was the only one who found it too bright or that after adjusting is dim but I'm getting used to it now regret getting xr, nothing fantastic except for the battery life

Well I also thought my friend and I were the one weird ones who faced issues with the XR sceeen. No need to regret , just sell it off and top up to get the max... lol

What tempered glass are you guys using on the xR? I am using a “full screen” TGSP but the sides still have space which I dislike. Any good true full screen one to recommend? Not going with Whitestone as it leaves the notch open.

That one where got flash one? I used X since second day of launch and now XS Max and no such thing as eye strains or headaches.
