Wait and see if Apple manages to do away with PWM for dimming the OLED, Xiaomi and One Plus have already shown that DC dimming is possible on a phone.

Only the yellow color has gold coloured bands around it which is nicest imo but im a minimalist so i prefer the white or black

yellow and gold. goes well with a pineapple case.

they said black makes the sides look bigger. but does the color drop easily?

Imo i feel that black does make the bezel stands out
But it accentuates wallpaper with colors like orange. Makes wallpapers look nicer than it is on white xr
I prefer the different colours on the white xr the silver ban, black bezels, white minimalist back
They blend in well together
Don't think the color drops easily like the xs as different process when making them
The black on the xs i know will peel when abrqaion with the case

why wud it be e other way round? eye strain is caused by pulse width modulation in OLEDs. XR is using LCD.

I personally experienced eye strain which causes headaches when I was using the XR. Switched to Xs Max and had no issues past 6 months.
Another of my friend faced the same issue with XR. Strange but true.
