I immediately went to check both my X and XS Max after seeing your pics, fortunately it’s fine.

How did you place your phone normally? At back pocket or somewhere else? Maybe it got hit without you realising?

TS how did you solve your issue?

my iphone xs max camera lens also cracked with no drop and in a mous case.

thankfully the crack will not affect the photos or flash and i have applecare+ too

so i will just continue using it =/

go get it assessed at apple store
xs max still a current new model

that microphone hole could have weaken the glass
glass protector available too

probably your phone is with keys. if you have ac+, should be quite cheap to replace.

The microphone hole ad the flash hole is very near, probably weakened when they did the drilling/cutting of the holes. If the small imperfections are there already, it does not take much for it to propagate into a bigger crack.

yea with ac+ u can get it for cheaper. they will do a full replacement at the cost $148++ or you can try your luck to call in to get it replaced for free.
