Hi, not sure whether has it been asked before, I just upgraded from IP 7+, can I continue to use the old charging cable + plug to charge my new XS max? It looks like not fast charging? Next, is it worth to get wireless charger and how effective is it. Any brand which is value for money to introduce? Thanks in advance.

Yes you can use it.

Fast charging only happens if you are using Apple 30W USB-C Power Adapter

But you will need a USB-C to Lightning Cable (1*m)

Yes if you hate having so many cables around it is a good try. Just note that wireless charging does create more heat so it is normal your device will feel warm.

I have a 2016 15" TB MBP charger, that should be able to fast charge the ipxsm.

I collected with 80% charge, put it on my wireless charger and it was pretty fast done.

Haven't started using cos all my accessories are still in flight though :\

i bought a ipad charger for it. much cheaper than the 30w + cable but charges slower. still much faster than the 5w charger. good price performance ratio imo.
