I have two belkin 3in1, this one in the background is the gen 1 I bought around 1yr ago without AW fast charge. The other model the flat one with AW fast charge I put in office. Both models are good and I haven’t experience over heating etc…

side note: it’s hs5 actually, coupled with hs8s and dac.

Looks great! But my main gripe with leather case is it seems impractical to clean. Unlike my TPU case can just wash with soap and water. How do you clean yours?

Thanks, I don clean… cause changing every year mah… leather case once season the color and feel very nice one. If cleared case harder to maintain I feel… dust and Yellowish issue.

I just like to wipe my phone/case with wet wipes everyday. If not like got bacteria leh. You don’t do that with leather case?

I had the leather case for my previous but the so called patina just looks like black grime.

Guys remember to buy side protection to protect that lightning port! Current 12/13 pro max version will work! You just need to cut out that lightning port portion!

+1 on the dust.... See the dust inside the case spoil look of the phone very gao wei

I think it was from the 11 onwards where Apple applied this coating on their leather cases where it would never patina properly. I have the saddle brown for my 12 which seemed to just never age, then when the coating eventually broke down (which took a few months), you’d see blackened edges. Which is gross. I have a nomad case as well and that got some nice wear after only a few days, absolute world of difference there.

No matter how careful u are when plugging in the cable to charge, there are bound to be scratches near lightning port area. Unless u use wireless charging all the way

Got easy way of applying. Remove the sticker, then poke your lightning connector through the sticker first, then plug it to your phone, stick the protector down and voila..... Dont use the metal prong they provide to stick, a slight alignment will make the charging cable a bit more difficult to plug in

You very OCD, I’m sure not everyone here clean their case on a daily basis. Haha

Correct, patina on some leather will be nice and natural looking… some ppl don like cos it’s like spots over the leather.
