I called in direct to Apple Store at orchard cause case (accessories) don’t have a direct support chat. Anyway i will try argue my way if the apple orchard staff say another thing lol.

Just bought the silicon case from Lazada which is $44 ($31 less than retail). The price difference really make it compelling to try and return within the return window.

“Unfortunately” I didn’t buy anything from Lazada. Already bought the storm blue silicone case from apple on 14 Sep and collected 17 Sep.

midnight silicone looks a bit boring. Didn’t want to buy storm blue on Lazada and return apple storm blue.

Not keen in leather cases cos will patina.

Original apple clear vs silicon vs leather, which one more value for money?

For sure apple leather followed by silicone. I personally don't like their clear case as threes no bottom protection & the white magsafe ring stand out too much. I'm using spigen ultra hybrid with carbon fiber mag ring, more subtle.

Yeah man. I initially wanted to hoot another magsafe charger cuz sales. But come to think of it, the magsafe battery pack is literally a detachable magsafe charger that doubles up as an emergency powerbank, so didn't order another magsafe charger despite being close to half price of srp

To me I don't use apple leather nor silicone currently. But i've used both for my previous iphones eg. ipxsmax & ip11pm. I feel leather is more premium & worth the price. I once met a friend who bought a replica apple silicone apple case & compared with my official apply silicone. For sure official is better quality but it's not 10x the price difference vs the replica one lol.

Spigen Ultra hybrid is my go-to case since iphone 8 plus, any other cases are just momentary impulsive buys & I always go back to the same case lol. I bought from amazon at $39 for my carbon fiber ip14pm.
