Anyone know whether we can use back the old iPhone/iPad charger (USB hole instead of USB C) to charge iPhone 15?

about to buy IP15. So thinking whether it is better to buy the USB C charger (either Apple or 3rd party?) or just use back the old USB charger with a USB C cable ?

You can use the old charger, or any USB charger

I am using an unknown brand wall charger with a 10W USB output plus another unknown brand USB A to USB C cable, to charge my IP15PM each night, with charging limited to 80%.

After 56 charging cycles, battery health remains at 100%.

thanks. I read that we are not suppose to use android quick charger/quick charge cable instead. Just normal USB A-C cable will do?
I search Shopee/lazada and see that ugreen say that their normal USB A-C can’t be use for iPhone 15. Seem like they are promoting USB C-C charger/cable.

To me charging speed and the battery temperature while charging is most important. Type of cable maybe don’t play too big a role.

When I use those quick chargers (eg. an Anker Nano 3 27W) with a USB C to USB C cable to charge, I could feel the back of the phone get slightly warm after reaching 80% but when I charge using my overnight charging method described earlier, even if I leave the cable connected all night long my phone still feels cold to the touch.

I seldom use my Belkin magsafe charger as it’s slower than my unknown brand USB A wall charger and it heats up the phone. The only time when I do use magsafe to charge is while driving with a Made for MagSafe car charger mounted in front of my car’s aircon vent. Charging in this manner allows the car aircon to cool the phone.

So far this combination of charging methods have served me quite well.

have been using my new JETech clear case... loving it.. titanium colour, lighter, MagSafe also strong.. just a bit worried about drop protection.

already day 7 after not using rebel gen 5...lol

Using Apple MagSafe, Prolink 65W and Ugreen 100W with limit to 80% since launch day. Battery health is at 100% with 64 counts. I charge my phone whenever but within the range of 30% - 80%.
