Actually it’s not just about the scratch resistance, strength, coating.

Those who have used a sapphire glass will know that the glass feels colder to touch as well.
Correct. The touch and feel of sapphire coated glass is different.

However if mainly buying for scratch resistance, then not worth it coz u can always change cheaper glass SP more frequently for the price of the premium SP

Hi all, I think I’m kind of late to buy phone accessories for my IP15PMNT. I’m not sure if I still can get it by Friday if I place order tonight. So I guess I will probably get a temporary case + SP to use for the time being while spending some time to survey for a decent case + SP.

I’d prefer to get a clear case + SP. Any cheap and good brand recommendations from Shopee, Lazada, and Amazon will do. Thanks in advance!

By the way, I have some questions on the accessories as I’m a new iPhone user this year.

1) USB-C Charge Cable (In the box)
-How can I connect my iPhone to my PC/laptop if it doesn’t come with a USB-C port? Do I need to buy a USB-C to USB-A cable or some kind of cable adapter?

2) 30W USB-C Power Adapter / 35W Dual USB-C Port Power Adapter
-I saw there are two options of 30W & 35W on Apple online store. Isn’t the iPhone charging speed capped at 30W? Why is there a 35W power adapter? So which one should I get?

3) MagSafe Charger
-Can I charge two MagSafe devices (iPhone + AirPods) at the same time on the basic Apple MagSafe Charger? Do I need to get those larger 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad from Belkin?

1) You probably need an adapter since Apple don't make USB-A to USB-C cable, or get USB-A to USB-C cable from other brands (I would recommend UGreen)

2) Apple 30W is single usb-c output, 35W is dual usb-c output (You can charge two devices at the same time but the W output will be half-ed) I think the 15's are capped at 27W charging.

3) Basic Apple Magsafe Charger only charges 1 devices at the same time. 2in1 / 3in1 chargers are luxury products, up to you if you need them or not. I personally have the belkin 3 in 1 stand by my bedside & I feel it's a very useful tool, tho quite expensive.

Wow $70 for a screen protector? No doubt that you’re paying for a quality build but most will still go for those entry level TG since you’re not going to test dropping from a few stories high.
Same. Never believed in paying more than $20 for a glass.

My Spigen glass on my 14PM from launch day till now still in perfect condition and feels great.

Still have the other spare one since Spigen sells it in a twin pack. Damn wasted since i’ll sell off my 14PM once my 15PM is in.

Then again i’ve always been a careful person.

For the sapphire glass on camera lens, is it easy to remove it without scratching the real thing?

Is this the one with action button covered? I saw the rendering on the Amazon SG site: not very clear on that part (& there’s only 1 shot).
Yes, I got the case from Amazon and received it few days back. it comes with a button for the action button

Isn't the 14pm SP compatible with 15pm screen?

1) I see. No wonder I couldn't find this type of cable in the Apple online shop. Alright, I will probably get a USB-A to USB-C cable from UGreen.

2) In this case, I will probably get the 30W USB-C Power Adapter. Did you purchase this power adapter from Apple for S$55.50? Is there a cheaper alternative?

3) Apple MagSafe Charger at S$59.00 compared to Belkin 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad at S$219.00. Indeed, the price is really expensive.

30W I got it together with my Macbook Air. Can try shopee/lazada apple flagship store when there are sales, but if you want ready stocks fast then it's apple or stores like challenger etc.

Magsafe charger only charge 1 device ma haha.. If you buying Belkin 3 in 1, you have to make sure you buy the latest model that supports fast charging for your Apple Watch. Can buy other brands like ESR as well. I personally wouldn't go for brandless/brands I don't know from amazon/taobao/shopee etc. I'd rather not risk my devices lol.. But all & all, magsafe is said to harm your devices more since it generates heat, and it doesn't charge as fast as 30W wired charging.
