if the customised one is good, probably will get more moving forward.

Wired? So seems yesteryears…. lol. Even most modern cars like mine also have wireless charging inbuilt.

Anyway I have a 15w MagSafe compatible pitaka windscreen mount since iPhone 13pm time… coupled with a ugreen 130w super fast car charger and braided cable to pitaka… sweet, nice and freedom of wireless and fast charging. The 130w can even charge my iPad Pro and mba 15” with the phone concurrently.

I don't drive daily so anything out of the norm is a luxury to me. Car charging is basically an expensive power bank (Car battery) imo Always accessible to wall plugs so don't see myself charging anything but my phone at times.

Anyway don't see a use for a windscreen mount since I have carplay tho (Haven't own one in years)

The car alternator will charge the car battery when you drive. Basically the car battery only usage is for starting the car and also the car cam recording when car is parked.

If you can, get the pitaka car charger (version 1) comes with inbuilt fan in case overheating on an hot day unlike their version 2 which comes with none (but included NFC???). U will love it
