As for how to check it, you could open the camera app. There are white corner lines on the frame of the camera. You will notice if the borders are blocking the screen if the lines are partially covered.
The other option is to download the border wallpaper like from here (not my website, I've just googled for it).

You can then check if your screen protector's borders are blocking your screen.

Okonz is great. I just applied mine. First time using Okonz SP as well. Had been an avid spigen SP user for many many years.
The only cons would be application process for okonz SP not as seamless as spigen.
I'm using the standard "Full clear". It has black borders, and oleo is great.

Because the left is for 15 pro max and the right is 14 pro max.
Haha i think this time round the nomad’s casing seems to be the better ones that they have made. Last time you can feel the line between the leather and the TPU sides. Now is like smooth. Seems to be thinner also their case. But then their cutout at the bottomWow, you’re all set! Nice nomad case btw
