Just for backup. Normally in the end, I don't really change. 1 protector for 1 year before selling the phone and changing to the next release

Ordered from Ugreen the screen protector but didn’t realised it has the black thin border. Not sure if my OCD will act up, will prepare to get those bezels less screen protector if the black border is irritating or what…

How big of an issue is the bottom gap for the official apple clear case?

Contemplating to get the clear case so I can see the color still, been using iPhone silicon case and the wear and tear will kick in in 6 months down the road.

How big of an issue is the bottom gap for the official apple clear case?

Contemplating to get the clear case so I can see the color still, been using iPhone silicon case and the wear and tear will kick in in 6 months down the road.

This was 1 of the 2 issues I thought about when considering the Apple clear case some years back. If you place your pinkie finger on the bottom of the phone while using it, it won’t feel as pleasant compared to a naked phone or fully covered bottom case, which doesn’t “cut” your finger like the open bottom Apple clear case..

Not to mention the increased probability of bottom dent/damage should you drop the phone.

2nd issue is the really stiff buttons on this case. Not sure if it has been rectified.

Thanks for the detailed experience! I guess I will stick to silicon like always when get iPhone, and 1 year later change to a 3rd party case when the cases are more fine tune.

nope. it's a cutout. i'm not too worried. last year, the same thing with action button. brand did send a new case with a button for the action button and i get to keep both cases. that's the good thing about Peak Design.
