Agree

My iPhone 6 use for gps in my car then after 20 mins. Suddenly shuts down and says phone needs to cool down!

I haven't reached my destination yet!

I didn't have this problem with 4S and 5S

so far i been using my gps app continuously for 20mins - 30mins. no overheat problem.

try using a mount thats mounted on the air con vent. i will usually semi-close that particular vent with the mount. dont like the idea of the cold air blowing continuously at the phone for 30mins and stepped out of the car is a 32deg sunny day. just a light cold air blowing on it should be sufficient to keep it from overheating

Mine can only be mounted on the windshield and the 6+ size tends to be leaving the phone in the sun when driving. The A Pillar can't shelter it.

So far, never had issue with driving under the sun >1 hour.

I've been playin rival knights on my iphone 6... it gets really hot, but not until the point of shutdown. Also can get quite hot during voice calls.

i guess compared to the earlier models i.e. 4 and 5, 6 should heat up faster due to its aluminium body. Mine also heats up but I'm not too worried about it.
