I would highly recommend you to go back to Apple.

My understanding is that the file contents are encrypted, so you'll need a working device that is able to power up to decrypt and access the contents.

Unfortuantly i didnt. Phone was brought to a shop nearby my office. Was quoted a prices higher then market trade in price, and that is just for repair and not replacement. I was pissed and felt like the shop want "carrot" me just for that.. decline to repair and was requested to pay a "fee" just for their clean up work....

Now the phone is with another company, attemping the repair. The first show warrant 100% repair...

The second shop is checking our the phone..
