Woo hoo, they say i can bring down to submit it.

I had a reply to my query sent to eserv as well. Essentially we bring the ipod nano down to them and they will provide a replacement within 3-4 (??) days. It is a replacement nano of the same model with a 90 day warranty

may i know where is Sapura ?

so is just walk in thats all ?

same here. I have one and the online replacement does not cover Singapore. I guess have to go to Apple Authorised Service Provider below. Anybody knows if there are any other places to replace this?

i've called the eserv@wheelock and they told me to just bring down my ipod nano and thats it... will bring down for servicing this saturday.. hopefully can get a new one rather than a battery replacement :|

there is something really funny about my nano...
bought a nano late 2006...
dropped it in mid 2007 and spoiled the lock button..
as it was under warranty..
i got it replaced for refurbished nano..

so here it comes the replacement program...
i tried entering both my old nano serial number (the one that isnt with me anymore, the box with serial number is still with me however) and my refurbished nano which is by right the production date is 2007...(i checked through the serial number)..
and guess what..
the one that is eligible for this battery replacement programme is my refurbished nano...

am i getting another refurbished nano for refurbished nano??

u going to get back the first gen nano. The battery is very cheap oni. Less than US$2.

Just send my 2 nano in... 1 set not working and they didn't check if it working it not.

heads up, made 2 calls to apple toll number.

First one told me Singapore not under countries affected.

Second one was more professional, he did quite a lot and told me to bring it to the Authorised Service Centres to process the return. Also helped me verify my S/N over the phone and confirming the particulars. He also told me its not battery replacement, but unit replacement.

i just sent my ipod nano to wheelock and they accepted it + issued me with a service form, was hassle free and pleasant!
