iPod nano (1st generation) Replacement Program

Anyone got a 1st gen as a replacement?

Maybe those exchange later part will get back the 1st gen refurbished set.
Now so many 1st gen send back for repair. Actually it is very easy to change the battery. The battery is easily available and very cheap.

Apple have 3 options 1) throw away all the 1st gen
2) sell the 1st gen as refurbished set
3) give back to those exchange later

You think which one is better option for Apple ?

I doubt anyone who has sent in to micro2000 has received the ipod. They are freaking slow. Avoid sending to them. I willl think twice about buying apple from them as well.

hi guys,

i sent 2 iPod Nanos to micro2000 @ Ubi early december. and i just collected the new 6th Gen iPod nano from them last friday.

I called them over the phone to ask about the status of the iPod nano as im leaving overseas soon and wouldn't be back for awhile. for my case, they specifically remove the iPod from the batch shipment and asked me to collect them the very same day i called them to check for the status.

apparently, they mentioned that the shipment has arrived and they are currently sorting out the iPods and will call y'all once they sorted them out.

so... if you are in need of a player urgently, u can give them a call. if not just wait for their call i guess.

hope this clear some of the air here for micro2000. (not speaking up for them in any form)

ps: i dislike the 6th gen iPod nano, the screen is so small and user unfriendly.

The 6th gen nano is a crap. Not user friendly.
I make a mistake for sending in to exchange.The 1st gen is much more user friendly and easy to hold.
